The Mission Continues
Maybe the God had misjudged exactly how much the waygate could handle in her years of improvement since his last attempt but that made it so J-onn needed to do more. Much more on a constant basis. He stole thoughts. Fudged mission logs and results. He still never left the watch tower or at least that's what you believed. You don't remember him leaving but it doesn't mean he hasn't. With a direct line to someones memories, the ability to appear as anything and anyone he pleases, and sound match to boot... he walks among you in a mask you'd never figure out. All while keeping up on his Watch Tower Job.
