if someone would have told her that she would have been moving back in with her ex a year ago, she would have told them that they were insane. not because she didn't love him but because the two had a conversation about how being separated would be the best for the children due to his lifestyle. except, that wasn't true. they still managed to become a target and well, if she were honest, she was miserable without the man with her. she was miserable without all of them being a family. she'd just put the kids to bed when she made her way into their shared bedroom and began working on one of the boxes of her things. "i can't believe we're doing this," she started and glanced over at him with a smile, "but i'm glad we are. you know that, right?"
