luna had just walked axel out about fifteen minutes before and she really wasn’t expecting company anyways. she’d decided to take what her brother said into consideration and to eventually talk things out with luka once things calmed down but it was like the universe really wasn’t willing to let her wait, not really anyways, especially since she could hear someone knocking on the outside of her door. her first thought wasn’t luka though. her first thought was axel and she was thinking maybe he forgot something. she walked to the door and swung it open, “what’d you fo-” she stopped her eyebrows furrowed as she saw luka on the ground. “luka?” she bent down, pushing some of his hair out of his face and noticing the bruises and boils. “what happened to you?” although, she was pretty sure she was talking to herself in this moment. she sighed, thankful that she had some wolf strength and she managed to pull him to her couch. what now?

luna wasted no time pulling luka onto the dance floor to join her in a dance. first off, she loved weddings and secondly, this was the first time she’d attended one with a date. she swayed along with him, a big grin on her face as she glanced between them and the married couple. she squeezed him, shaking him a little. “they’re so cute!” she exclaimed, looking back at luka. “i love them and i love weddings.” she added. and she really was trying not to be so distracted by her brother and his husband, and instead, focus on her own boyfriend. “you know who else is cute?” she asked, her fingers coming up to mess with his tie, her smiling widening. “you. we both know i like suits and well, uniforms.” she added with a laugh, a small blush on her cheeks.

luna had been trying to find a way or the right time to tell axel that she had taken his advice. she was braiding his hair for him, helping him get ready for the ball when he stopped talking for just a moment and she took that as an opportunity to spill it. “so, remember when you told me that i should branch out and try new things?” she asked, her fingers moving through his hair and a small smile appearing on her face. “well i did it. you know,” she paused, letting out a giggle and biting down on her bottom lip, “i had sex.” she told him, her fingers moving to twist his hair into the bun he’d requested. she was trying to act as natural as she could about it but they both knew it was big for her to branch out like that.

“-okay, so...” luna started, crossing her arms over her chest as she took a seat at the bar across from luka. “i ran into kwan and remember how you said he was what he was?” she asked, “well, i was thinking that he was going to come after me or whatever like you said but he was different..i threw water in his face, luka! he looked at me like i was totally insane. are you sure he’s a demon? i mean, how did you know in the first place?” she was overall just embarrassed that she’d done that to him, especially in public but at the same time...he was acting different than he had before and she had a weird feeling about all of this.

luna stood across from luka, her hands on her hips and her eyes on his. “you’re going down this time.” she warned the man. she was strong but he was stronger due to the fact that he’d been a wolf longer than luna had. she’d been working with him for a little while, not only to work on gaining her control in frustrating situations but also to keep up with a friend. she stepped forward, never really breaking eye contact, “are you ready?” she was completely predictable and he always blocked everything she threw his way but she was determined this time and she wasn’t going to let him win, even if there wasn’t really a winner or a loser. her plan this time was simply to cheat and to tackle him when he least expected it but of course, he didn’t know that and she couldn’t help but hope she could catch the other off guard.

luna was getting extremely comfortable with luka. their first date had gone well and maybe the two of them hadn’t made any effort to make anything official but she was still happy regardless of that. she’d managed to pull him away after a couple of drinks and even more dancing to steal a couple of kisses. her arms came around his neck and she smiled up at him, her lips finding his to steal yet another kiss. “we should probably get back out there, shouldn’t we?” she mumbled, her brown eyes on his.

to say that luna was nervous was an understatement. the last date she’d been on was with dan and well, that had ended in a headbutt. of course, she’d done a lot more with luka than kiss him and she hadn’t managed to embarrass herself with him yet. she was definitely hoping for the best this time around since it wasn’t really a blind date and she did actually like luka. she knocked on the door, a smile appearing on her face the moment he swung it open and she came in for a hug, as she often did with him. she noticed maisie in the background, smiling at the two of them before turning her attention back to annabeth. “are you ready to go? i know you’re dying to know what i have planned.” she teased.
