stephen had been sitting here by himself for a little while, longer than he expected to since he was expecting someone to join him but the more time that went on, the more he was convinced that he was being stood up. sighing, he looked at the other who had been sitting at the bar on their own too. “on your own tonight?” he asked, offering her a small smile. “think i could buy you a drink?”
