Toy Soldiers Sev|Niner
Strange.
The mission debrief still ran through his head as Niner quietly led Sev down the hallway of the barracks. General Zey had made it very clear that he wanted Sev and Niner on this mission, and no interference from omega or delta squad. It eluded the commando greatly.
In general, the mission was rather straight forward. Break into a lonely toyshop on Raxus Prime (which, by the way, was covered with abandoned factories, toxic debris and poisonous gas), neutralize a psychotic toy maker, diffuse the seemingly 'harmless' toy bombs and rescue captured victims. Not to mention the fact that their intel wasn't very reassuring.
Okay. Perhaps it wasn't that straight forward. It still didn't make any sense that the Republic wouldn't just send in one whole commando squad instead of two soldiers who barely even talk to each other.
"Right," Niner sniffed, interrupting his own thoughts. "Get cleaned up and we'll be on our way. 15 minutes max. I'll meet you in the hangar bay."
