offset,
@lgcsammy
sometimes there are days that are just...off.
from the very moment he woke up, sungkyu knew today wasn't going to be the very best of days. he could only hope it wasn't the worse-- so he drags his feet through practice. tries to push through the buzz in his brain to get something legible on paper. he doesn't feel very good about it, so he spends a bit more time on it when he can. he rubs at the skin under his eyes, feeling fatigue settle as he stares down at the paragraph in front of him. there's a bunch of scratched out words, questions and spelling fixes spread out over the paper. the music playing on the laptop in front of him is a messy beat-- but sungkyu isn't really hearing it.
he does hear the door to the practice room open, and he lifts up his head. at the sight of sammy, he lifts up two fingers in a wave, a small smile crossing his face despite the tired gleam to his eyes. "hey sammy," he calls out in greeting, eyes flickering back to the computer, then back to his lyrics. after a moment, he turns his gaze back to sammy, pushing away from the table as he points to a bag off to the left of the room. "i brought some snacks if you're hungry."
