; Small Problem
@hrsophia
“is there something wrong, dabin dear?” she frowns slightly and reaches over to touch his forehead as if he was sick. the younger male came from time to time and sophia was willing to listen to him talk whether if it’s an accomplishment or if it’s something that is on his mind. she hopes that she had made her cafe a safe place for all her customers to talk to her about whatever is on their minds. she gives him a small smile, “give me one minute, why don’t you go look for a spot and i’ll talk with you afterwards.”
sophia turns around quickly and glances at the different teas she has. she reaches over for the chamomile tea and puts it in a tea pot. after she pours the boiling water into the tea pot, she sets it on a tray along with two tea cups and carries it to the table he was seated in. sliding in the seat across from him, she pours out the tea in their respective cups, “now.. would you tell me what happened?”
╰☆╮DABIN MAY STILL have a lot to learn, but he knows one thing. That's that most business owners don't act this nice. Not when there's no money involved at least. Now he does know that he visits the bakery weekly to grab his favorite baked goods. But he'd already done that this week. He's only broke the schedule because he's stressed. He didn't think that Sophia would catch on so quick to his casual statements.
❝ Okay, ❞ Protesting may have been a better option. Or if not then sliding out the door ignoring what she said. But Dabin finds his legs carrying him away from the counter towards the tables and chairs. A few seconds later he's sitting down and waiting. Fingers drum against the table until Sophia walks over.
❝ Thank you, ❞ he says as he grabs a cup of tea. It's too hot to drink now but the aroma wafting from it is comforting. ❝ It's nothing important. I'm stressing over work. ❞ Hitting a bump in his playing is nothing new. But hitting a bump for longer than a few hours is. Dabin feels like his own fingers have betrayed him. So he stares at them.
