the best way for evelyn to decompress after a long work day was going to the gym. there she was able to release all of her stress in a legal, beneficial manner. she didn’t know what was going on with her sales department but they’ve been slacking off so much, she started doing rounds at local hospitals. making sure they were supplied and orders were being placed and sent.
walking into the locker rooms, the woman let out an exhausted sigh as she looked into the mirror. shaking her head at herself, her eyes slowly trailed off noticing the woman a few sinks down. momentarily she couldn’t tell why she looked so familiar, but she felt as if her pair of eyes were lingering her way as well. taking the initiative, evelyn turned her head and asked her, “i swear i’ve seen you before…but i don’t think in the gym?” resting her hand on her hip and letting her eyes look the stranger up and down she snapped her finger and pointed. “do you work in healthcare?” evelyn was sure the woman thought she was insane for jumping right into a conversation trying to guess where she’s seen her face before. “i’m either at work, the hospital, or here. i mean maybe my mind just remembers your face around this building.”
