It had become a regular thing, apparently, for Arc to see Kaoru. Sometimes he knew when he was coming, like clockwork, other times, the other would just show up-- Arc loved it. The droid loved those nights he would be bought up by the other, those were the nights he looked forward to, other than the nights with Tae. The other never pressured him or made him feel less, in fact, he made him feel worthy-- better than humans, even. (Arc didn’t believe that but that was just how he was treated, and it really was nice).
Today was one of the clockwork nights. Arc had just finished with a client (unfortunately) so he was already, to put it simply, tired. He mused with his hair in the mirror, his body, despite being made out of metal, ached. And just on time, as if scheduled, he was met with the man who he began to look forward to, a wide smile on his face. He contained the urge to hug him tight, and instead, waited for when they were alone, in a private room, but nevertheless, alone. He hopped onto him in a tight hug, his 5′7 frame clinging to him with a wide smile. “I’m so happy to see you,” he breathed.
