It wasn’t exactly easy to bribe her way into the Gryffindor common room, but it was at the very least easier than answering a complicated riddle across the castle. Marlene picked a spot by the fireplace, astounded by how comfortable and warm Gryffindor Tower was even when she wasn’t drunk. It definitely wasn’t Hufflepuff, but it wasn’t so bad, either. Smiling to herself, Marlene kicked her boots up on the table and pulled out her copy of The Hobbit. If Sirius Black was going to keep her waiting (unbeknownst to him), she figured she might as well get some homework done in the process.
