despite how distant the man was, sunggyu found himself feeling something akin to pity for ahn jaehyun, the man who aided him in the removal of that body long ago. he had seen what happened that night, having been dragged to that damn party by his boyfriend. he saw the pain that etched ahn jaehyun’s features, saw how his eyes morphed and glazed over. he saw the intent to kill. and he heard of the death of that girl. he knew that the taller would be distraught, after all -- ahn jaehyun was a delicate creature.
sunggyu had grown a sort of soft spot for the pale, almost vampire like male.
it took him a while to think of a way to distract jaehyun from these troubles that faced him, and eventually he managed to figure out a way. it was all thanks to binx, his kitten that seems to still be so small. she had been playing with his pants and the chain hanging off the side; and he realized he knew just what the other needed.
so sunggyu had grabbed his wallet and made his way towards the nearest pet store.
now, finding the perfect kitten for jaehyun had taken some time, he had to make sure the kitten would fit the man and his needs. after a while, he came across a little white kitten with flat ears and wide eyes. for some reason, the cat seemed to remind sunggyu of the man. he had bought the feline and the little darling curled up against his neck as he carried her out the store. and after buying a little goody back for the kitten, he found himself making his way to jaehyun’s apartment.
of course to get there, he has to pass by lee junho’s.
it was always hard to walk by that door without wanting to barge in and wring the fuckers neck, but for jaehyun’s sake he managed well enough and found himself standing in front of the chocolate milk lovers home. he waited a minute, checking the bag and making sure he had everything. cat food, litter, a cat box, toys and a little cat bed as well. the kitten buried from her place on sunggyu's shoulder, curled up into a fluff ball. he was happy the little one was able to rest on shoulders, ahn jaehyun would like that too.
with his free hand, sunggyu gave a few swift knocks to the door. he heard nothing at first, but then a faint sound came through. brows frowning, sunggyu found his thin patience spiking and he knocked again, but harder. he wasn’t going to be ignored, not when he took the time to try and bring his -- friends (?) mood up. so knocking again, he cleared his throat.
“ahn jaehyun, come out here now.”
he wasn’t going to stop knocking until the door was opened. he could do this for hours if need be.
