belle can’t sleep. merlin is finally home safe and she thought that would fix this whole thing, but no, she still can’t sleep. she slips out of bed and grabs her robe on her way out of her room, pulling it on as she moves through their living quarters as quietly as possible. she doesn’t want to wake merlin, not at this hour. this hour that should stop her from doing what she’s about to do, but doesn’t in the slightest. she steps into the worn boots she keeps by the doorway and makes her way over to nik’s, knocking on the door with what she hopes is the appropriate amount of force to get their attention if they’re awake but not wake them up if they’re already asleep.

Chip missed his family. This city was so interesting, and cool, but he needed someone to help him navigate the world. There was so much to learn, and he was overwhelmed by it all. He hoped to find someone from his home, he now knows that's a possibility. He walked into a book store, hoping to find things about this city when he saw Belle. It was such a relief, so he excitedly went to her. "Belle! I'm so glad to see you! It's Chip!"

🗡️ – Belle decided to pay Flash a surprise visit. She was in the area, and after a contract well executed... she actually had some free time to use at her leisure. After ringing his bell unsuccessfully, she decided to use her skills to pick his lock, and slide into his apartment. It was a bit messy, and she chuckled... though she frowned when she noticed the wheelchair in a corner of the apartment. No matter, he probably left on his prosthetic legs. She settled on his couch comfortably, crossing her legs, picking up a book from his coffee table and leafing through it.

🗡️ – “Just so we’re clear...” The assassin said, peering at the skunk-haired woman in front of her, her blue eyes cold and piercing as she was anticipating that there would be a catch of some sort. “Ya come t’ me while I’m working. Ya tell me Remy is in a world of trouble -- ain’t big news -- an’ that ya try an’ recruit me to save his pretty ass without him knowin’?” She quirked a brow, tilting her head a little, her current mark completely forgotten as she focused on her fellow Southern Belle. Her mark wouldn’t go far anyway, she wasn’t alone in the field, she had a couple of helpers who were skilled enough to make the kill. “Sounds delightful. I’m in.”

🗡️ -- The matriarch of the Assassins was looking for Kaine. Did he skip town after she told him that she was expecting his child? She wasn’t sure. And so she looked for him any place he could be. She hated herself for breaking his trust and going behind his back. She wanted to apologize... apologize and see if she could make amends. She wanted to repair her relationship with him. She missed him, and she wanted him in her life. “Kaine? Kaine, I’m sure you’re here.” She called out, certain that he was in the vicinity, hidden thanks to his suit’s tech.
