“How’s your stomach doing?” Better, hopefully, given that Christine had come over because she saw the crewman starting to sit up and glower at the rest of the staff again; but she supposed Shoya Kasamali couldn’t be blamed for being grumpy that they’d been induced vomiting.

“Less nauseous?” she added as se scanned her read-outs. Heart rate and blood pressure looked a lot better. Still warmer than she’d like her to be. And when she set a hand on her arm, that was still trembling too. “It looks like you’re starting to recover, at least.

“Feel well enough to help me work through how you got to this? I assume you don’t usually take in caffeine..?”

Hyuna rolls her eyes with a certain fondness. The coffee shop is busy and bustling, but not as bad as it could be, and when she glances over to the counter she sees that her co-workers have got it under control.

Which translates to: she can continue pestering Jongin about not sleeping enough.

“You know that’s not healthy, right?” She crosses her arms and shakes her head. “Alright love, I’ll get you something with an extra caffeine shot so your sleep schedule won’t be completely fucked, yeah? And in return you’re gonna try and take better care of yourself so I don’t have to worry.” The manager comes out from the back, and Hyuna quickly ruffles Jongin’s hair. “Consider it a way of thanking me,” she says before hurrying behind the counter and preparing the coffee for him.

Caffeine [OPEN]

Matthew ran his hand through his hair before pulling it back and up into a ponytail--or as much of one as he could manage, that is. He ambled over to the sink and washed his hands thoroughly, in the process of drying them when Anna leaned her head into the door and called out, "Hurry up, Mattie! The morning rush is starting!"

"Coming, coming!" the blond answered as he threw the paper towel away and hurried out to the counter. The warmth of the front of the shop hit him, and he took a moment to deeply breathe in the smell of coffee. He smiled, his purple eyes sparkling, and took over for Anna at the cash register. It was better to have the more experienced barista making the drinks during huge rushes like this.

Matthew raised his eyes to his first customer of the day, and with a gentle smile asked, "Welcome! How may I help you?"
