Romeo loved Times Square. Of the countless times he had visited the landmark he had never once been bored by it. The tourists bustling around in mobs, all wearing those overpriced 'I <3 NY' shirts and snapping pictures of skyscraper after skyscraper, the vendors hanging around the streets, offering the aforementioned tourists bus tours, churros, pretzels, clothing, ready to haggle, and the costumed actors handing out pamphlets about their shows. Everything was fascinating.
He often ventured into the square, note pad in hand, ready to nab a seat in the central bleachers, or on the small walls surrounding it, and take notes and sketch the people he saw (he didn't claim to be an artist - he was nothing compared to his brother!). Romeo adored people almost as much as he adored Times Square.
It was his day off, so he had wandered into the social hub of New York City, with his notepad, a bottle of water, his wallet, and some ball point pens at the ready. He managed to find a couple of empty seats in the bleachers and made himself comfortable by shrugging off his sweater, folding it up, and sitting on it. This meant he was ready to stay put for a couple of hours and daydream the day away.
Maybe he'd go to a club later and see if he could pick someone up. Maybe he'd go to a new restaurant and see what they had to offer as inspiration. See if there were any recipes he could modify.
Ah, he didn't know where the day would take him, but for now he was content.
