Dean set his jaw, flinching at the mention of his father. It was different, he wanted to argue. At least Dean had met his father, even if he wasn’t around much. Cas was taking orders from some theoretical God that Dean wasn’t even sure he believed existed anymore. “Maybe you’re not letting your emotions affect you enough.” Dean snapped. “You always have a choice, Cas, you’re just deciding that the right one is too hard.”
