@twotrevelyans (Marcella) liked for a starter from Lir
Lir had little to no warm feelings about Orlais. His father had fought against them to free Ferelden from their grasp and preserve their culture so for Lir to be in Orlais was something of an annoyance. One wouldn’t be able to tell that, though. So far he’d charmed quite a few of the Orlesians, getting compliments on his charm and remarks of how he wasn’t what they expected from a Fereldan. Which had caused more ire to rise up but he covered it.
The Exalted Council was important and while Teagan was keen to show his distaste, Lir would not. He needed to insure this went smoothly for Alistair, after all. Fereldans didn’t enjoy outsiders in their country; and the Inquisition had a hold within their boundaries they did not appreciate in the slightest. Something had to be done.
The gardens gave him a slight break from the Orlesians and the Council. He strolled along, contemplating how many more damn Orlesian letters he would get suggesting ‘political alliances’ he would get after this. His gaze moved down the path, seeing a woman just ahead. A member of the Inquisition, if his memory served correct. She was settled on a bench, looking over a book.
Trevelyan, right, from the Free Marches. Free Marcher company was better than Orlesian company.
“Might I join you?” He asked, all smiles and charms.
