Mother's Day ||
So maybe you weren't blessed with a mother who wished to hold you in her arms, but who needed to know that? Marion certainly didn't think that was a notable fact, and so, with that thought year after year, he'd search about downtown in little novelty shops for whatever a 'mother' might enjoy. The perks of it was being able to not have to walk out empty handed, for such shops always had something that peaked his interest.
With the nick-nacks he had found, bagged, in one hand and a single white flower in the other, Marion made his way along the streets of downtown. There weren't any other places he wished to visit, so he decided to take the next bus out. There he sat at the stop, waiting. After checking his phone, he sighed. Still a good 20 minutes until the next bus... Why in the world he hadn't just taken his car he was unsure.
