Never one to shy away from flashing lights or attention, Ludo was feeling oddly out of place at the gala. Perhaps it was her current level of sobriety, which she was quickly working to do away with, but more than anything it was that she was here alone. Being able to wander and mingle to her heart’s content was something she was still getting used to in her newly single life. It was a relief, of course, to be free of her domineering ex, but Ludovica found herself having to continuously re-teaching herself how to behave without him.
