Nicholas couldn’t help but flinch slightly, looking down to the other with eyes that were only apologetic, “Sorry, it’s been a while since someone fitted me for suit alterations and I forgot how fidgety I get.” He commented, trying to remain as still as possible so it didn’t cause the other to stick a pin in him. “Thank you for this by the way, I know it was all sort of last minute and I feel bad for you having to go through all this work.”

Joanna had been glad for the day off, tucked away at the old Masen home and ignoring whatever drama was going on outside her door. That didn’t seem to be lasting for long as she heard someone knocking. She got up all too ready to give whoever it was a piece of her mind but she paused when she saw who it was. “Pip, hey, are you alright? I wasn’t expecting you.”

Piper scrunched her nose up and furrowed her brow. She hated that her father had gotten her a bodyguard. She just wanted to go to her university classes, to spend time with her friends, without having someone shadowing her all the time. "And you're playing with mine," The words slipped past her lips, more irritation lacing them than she was used to.

Piper nervously pulled at her sleeves. "I didn't choose to have you; I didn't want to not have you. But I couldn't stay, I couldn't bypass the opportunity of my dreams. I'm sorry, Rich. It wasn't easy."

Pipers fingers tapped against the red solo cup in her hands, eyes drifting across the room and watching the various activities take place. She knew very few of the people here, why Ally insisted on bringing her was a question Piper would never answer. Her friend always wanted her to get out of her shell, stop living in books and explore the world before she's too old and while Piper would admit the other had a point, bringing her to parties with people she didn't know would not make that feat any easier. No one ever talked to her at these things and she never knew how to approach them.

Almost as if the universe had heard her, she felt the cushions of the couch dip down as someone sat next to her. Her eyes drifted over to them, wondering what his intentions were. Did he want to talk to her or was he just sitting there because he was too drunk and needed the seat. "Uh....hello..."

“You know, no one ever mentioned how difficult all of this was.” Penelope sighed, frowning at the people who kept walking behind her and getting in her shot before turning back to Piper. “Do other influencers just edit people out of the background or something? Surely they have to in order to get a clear shot.” She commented before walking over to the other, “How are they looking so far though? I mean I can’t imagine them looking bad given the outfit I’m wearing.” She smiled, complimenting the others talents.

"So this little outing I’ve brought you on may have a little more of an agenda to it then us simply hanging out, drinking Prosecco and eating french patisseries.” Penelope commented before taking a bit out of a Macaron. “I want to quit my job at the ministry and pursue my own business as a content creator and I want your help with it. If you’re willing of course.”
