After sulking in thought for what seemed like forever, Ian finally decided to make his decision. A hard one nonetheless. Grumbling for most of the day, he wasn’t exactly too happy with himself. And that alone said a lot. Having to choose between losing the chance of ever being with Lucy or making Rissa upset with harsh words wasn’t one of his brighter moment. But he ultimately chose what he felt was best for himself. He was being selfish, which wasn’t exactly a new thing for him. Sure, Ian had his moments where he was soft and caring. However, when it came down to it, he would choose what he felt benefited him the most.
Sitting in his room, he ran his fingers through his hair before leaning back. He had to do it. If he didn’t his family’s business was on the line. Letting out a sigh of frustration, he suddenly got up as he made his way to Rissa’s room. Hoping she was in there since he this wasn’t really planned.
Once he reached her door, he paused, staring at it. Shutting his eyes tightly, he mentally cursed himself before knocking on it three times, as he always did. Putting his hands in his pockets, he felt himself getting nervous. He didn’t really plan on how to actually do it. The delivery was very impulsive. Pacing back and forth, he decided he would mentally prepare himself on the proper way to do this. Of course, there was no proper way.
