WHO: alana kaplan. news paper editor. bisexual. 25-29. hande ercel fc. OPEN TO: anyone 21+ PLOT: our muses have been trying to make things work for a while but alana's at her wits end.

an obviously upset feeling settled over her face, tears making their ways to her eyes as they managed to start fighting once again. it seemed like the norm nowadays and she hated every minute of it. "-i can't keep doing this," her voice cracked, a shaky sigh leaving her lips. "we can't get doing this. nothing is ever going to change."

alana was confident in her job and there wasn’t anything so loved more than interviewing people for a story. her high heels clicked against the floor of the basketball court until she finally approach nina, a smile resting across her face as she poked her hand out. “nina, i’m alana. i’m here to interview you for the paper.” she announced and eventually dropped her hand back down to her side. “did you want to do it here or was there somewhere else you preferred?” she questioned, her head tilting to one side. meeting the woman in person was almost intimidating but only because she knew the talent the other held and she almost didn’t feel worthy to be in her presence. “whatever you’re more comfortable with is good with me.”

alana didn’t mean to stare but she was curious. she didn’t spend a lot of her time outside of the water and so, in a way, she was confused about the human world and the way that it worked. “what’s that thing do?” she asked, pointing at it and moving closer to them. personal space wasn’t a thing in her book. in fact, she didn’t even know what that was. “can i see it?” she asked, her eyes jumping between the object they were holding and their eyes. before they could really answer her, she took it and observed it, turning it every which way, trying to figure out how it worked or what it did. “where can i get one?”

alana loved these sorts of things. she was known for what she did and while she wasn't always praised for it, she was just happy to be known at all. she was standing on her own, champagne class in her hand when she noticed a familiar face come her way. she'd never properly met him before but she'd certainly written enough articles about him to feel as though she really knew him. "come here to tell me how much you love my work?" she joked, a snide smile resting of her face. her work did nothing but bash him but she was only delivering what she thought everyone should know because she hated seeing guys like him in the spotlight. "or was it an autograph you wanted?"

alana had enjoyed reuniting with marco and she didn’t even realize how much she’d missed him until they started hanging out again. she looked up at him, a smile resting on her lips as they made their way down the trail they’d decided to take a walk down. she didn’t want to scare him away but she did want to admit how much fun she’d been spending time with him. “the weather’s perfect today, isn’t it? we pretty much picked the right time to go, i’d say.” she started, her hand brushing against his as they walked. she’d been too nervous to make a bold move like taking his hand but she was trying. “and you know, this has been a lot of fun - spending time with you, i mean.” she added, softly.

alana gave the man an apologetic look and moved toward him, “oh god. i’m really sorry. i really didn’t mean to hurt you. you just, well, you scared me. i know i should walk home alone or whatever but like, i don’t have a car and sometimes the walk it nice.” she rambled and then took her keys, “i’m so sorry. i don’t think i’ve ever punched anyone before. are you okay?” she asked, stepping forward to examine his face further.

alana was ecstatic about finding the perfect wedding dress and she knew it was soon but the two of them had agreed to a small wedding, one she figured they’d be able to plan by october and so she was trying to get what she could together. she came into their now shared apartment and found him sitting out on the balcony, a smile crawling over her lips. she sat down in his lap, her arms coming around his neck, “guess what, baby?” she asked, her fingers playing with his hair. “i found my dress today and those people with the garden venue got back to me together and they have an october date open so i took the one saturday they had. are you changing your mind about me yet?” she teased.

alana plopped down at the bar right in front of luka who didn’t seem to notice she walked into the bar in the first place. “hey there, big brother!” she knew they weren’t actually related but she looked at him like a brother. of course, she actually had siblings down in the ocean but they weren’t nearly as nice as luka was. “i didn’t bring any friends but i brought myself and you said you’d hang out with me! i’m super hungry though. do you serve like a really good sandwich? i could go for once right about now...or i could just settle with a pina colada.” she paused for a moment, only to catch her breath, “hey! did you know my man friend took me on his boat and told me my tail was beautiful?”
