@strawberrylaceswrites Calvin never thought he would find the love of his life and the women he wanted to marry whilst in the pods and although they had both been dating other people during this time, he knew that he wanted marry Sabrina more than anyone and he knew it was going to be the biggest decision of his life but one he was ready to make. He walked into the pods, slightly nervous as he had no idea if she was going to say yes or if she would deny his proposal which was a possibility. As he looked around he cleared his throat, "Hey Sabrina, are you there? I've missed you and it's only been a couple of hours."

the last thing that the man wanted to be was a homewrecker but he couldn’t stand there and watch her with her husband when he knew that he could give her more, that he could treat her better. “your husband,” he started, shaking his head as his eyes met hers, “he neglects you.” he added, moving closer to her and leaving barely any space in between the two of them.

The brunette regretted her decision no sooner than she told Calvin that she’d meet him at the party venue. It was the same place everything crashed down the last time around. And despite them being together now, the previous fight or revelation or whatever the hell it was, had managed to weave a delicate strain between them even if she refused to admit it. It might not be true on Calvin’s part but she could feel it fester within her everyday. Handing her coat over at the foyer, she moved towards the courtyard with a certain amount of hesitation in her steps. Lexie’s eyes relaxed as soon as she caught sight of her vampire and her footfalls became surer even when her shoulders tensed a bit as she came to a stop before him. “Great! Now I feel over dressed…” Her lips turned up in a pout as she took in his appearance, appreciating his effortless sense of fashion and cursing it at the same time. @calvin-shaw

Perfect Obsessions || l&c

After a long week at work, Lexie decided to go to Calvin’s place quite spontaneously as she left the hospital that Friday evening. Opening the door that had been left unlocked carelessly, she peeked inside his apartment and on finding no signs of life she moved in two steps before she was picked up in a hug. Laughing as she held the take-out food in her hands away from harm, “Okay, down soldier!” She told him with a pointed look as she was dropped back to the ground, smiling all the way. Thrusting the food bag in his hands, “As much as I’d love to greet you properly, I feel gross coming straight from work. Let me take a quick shower and I’ll make it up for ignoring you for most of the week!” Pressing a short but sweet kiss to his lips before making her way towards his shower with a spring in her steps, she turned around the last minute to gesture at the mexican food in his hand. “That’s a peace offering by the way. I didn’t know what you liked, so got a little of everything.” She added uncertainly. God, they still had a lot to learn about each other and there she was already head over heels for him. “And I’m stealing your shirt. Again!” She winked at him before slinking in and shutting the door firmly after her.

Temptation Eyes || C&L

Having lost Cassie somewhere between the crowd and the bar, Lexie found herself searching for the one man who had recently turned into the bane of her existence. Finding him casually leaning on the railing of the first floor with few other people, she slowly made her way up the stairs until he was all by himself with his back turned towards her. “Both!” She told him in reply to the question from his earlier text. “I met them both, Micah and Kade and all they had was a few annoyingly harmless questions. But what I wanted to say was--” And right then he turned around, letting her brown eyes lock on to his blue ones, reminding the witch of a couple of adularia moonstones staring right back at her in the low light. “Hi... for a minute, I thought I was stood up by my date down there!” She continued in a soft voice with her lips curving up in a smile.
