Taking advantage of the situation, Caleb walked over to an abandoned tray with glasses and decided to pose as a waiter for a few minutes. Waiters were invisible to the guests during a large party and it would give him the opportunity to overhear some conversations. Mainly those of the Original family and everyone linked to them. Weaving through the crowd, Caleb smiled politely at everyone who reached up to take a glass, until a figure stopped in front of him. “Champagne?”

“Now watch me whip... Watch me nae nae.” Calvin shouted out as he attempted to dance along with the song. How was it still playing? Wasn’t it considered old by now? “Am I doing it right?” He asked loudly. “I would hate to look like a fool.”

The brunette regretted her decision no sooner than she told Calvin that she’d meet him at the party venue. It was the same place everything crashed down the last time around. And despite them being together now, the previous fight or revelation or whatever the hell it was, had managed to weave a delicate strain between them even if she refused to admit it. It might not be true on Calvin’s part but she could feel it fester within her everyday. Handing her coat over at the foyer, she moved towards the courtyard with a certain amount of hesitation in her steps. Lexie’s eyes relaxed as soon as she caught sight of her vampire and her footfalls became surer even when her shoulders tensed a bit as she came to a stop before him. “Great! Now I feel over dressed…” Her lips turned up in a pout as she took in his appearance, appreciating his effortless sense of fashion and cursing it at the same time. @calvin-shaw

It had been a while since she arrived and Lexie was on the lookout for the birthday girl since it kinda seemed improper to not wish her and yet be there for the party. It was then that she noticed Micah loitering around few other people and she forgot her original purpose as she made a new line towards him. Intercepting in his path as he moved away from the other group, “I thought we were supposed to be friends.” The witch simply stated while twitching a single brow at him expectantly. @micahsloan

Aleksandra stood near the open doorway out into the back. With a glass of champagne in her hand, she was taking a moment to stop and look around. Up until them she had been floating around the house, admiring how it looked and greeting the people that she recognized. Hearing someone approaching, she turned her head to the side. “Don’t you look fancy.” She commented as she eyed them up and down.

The party had been in full swing for roughly a couple of hours and Esther had been successful in avoiding mostly everyone. Which included her mother and adopted father. Too many things were on her mind, and the guilt of keeping it all locked in was starting to get to her. The blonde vampire was tired of lying to everyone and honestly, she was terrified that whatever was wrong with her, would eventually take her life. A couple of men attempted to charm her with her good looks, and normally she would lure them away to slaughter, but instead she walked by and completely ignored them. Instead she made herself comfortable in a nearby corner, where a chair stood empty, bottle of wine in hand.
