Abby was going to kill him, she had told him as much last time he’d done this. Not that it had really been his fault this time, the window had only been open a crack. How was he to know Rex weighed enough to push it open? But Abby wouldn’t see it that way. No, his only hope of at least having a mercifully quick death was to find the troublesome Coelurosauravus and get him home safely, a task that was taking all of his attention. In fact, it was dominating his mind so completely that it hardly occurred to him to look where he was going until he barreled head-long a stranger headed in the opposite direction.
“God, sorry, mate!” He squeaked, scrambling back to his feet and offering the strange man a hand up. He frowned a little at the man’s unusual dress sense, but then, who was he to comment on people’s fashion choices? He gave the man an apologetic smile, “Wasn’t looking where I was going, was I? You alright?”
