“So what do you think? Is pink my color?”

Marcus could only best be described as Marcus. He was who he was, affectionate, loudly so. Which was why likely no one would be shocked when he casually caught up to Yue, moving an arm over his shoulders. “So, Gramps.” He started, grinning to him. “I think I really made the right choice with opening Peace. Seeing people fully relax? It’s like the sweetest treat.”
@anunlikelypear
Marcus held the big boxing bag up in front of himself as Lila got to bet loose on it. He wasn’t necessarily working on getting right technique from her, but more just on her keeping up with getting her anger and frustrations out, before they worked on the more peaceful things. “Starting to get tired?” He asked, observing her. They’d already been working out for an hour, well, she’d been working out for an hour, and he’d been receiving her fists and kicks. It was rather amusing though. That he’d managed to get the grumpy little woman who’d been ready to give up on yoga after one round of not getting it, to having her regularly come to it, and even hang out in advance to get tired before they tried yoga. “Or do you want to keep going?”

Marcus hadn’t expected to run into Yue that day,but still he did. Cart full of books on all sorts of things from mindfulness, to yoga poses, meditation, and even a few books on knitting. Next, he’d be going to go and buy stuff to actually do some knitting with. All sorts of things to try and find a way to calm down Cassian, and bring some peace to his sire. After all, he couldn’t be around to lay himself on top of the younger vampire to calm him down. “Yue.” Marcus greeted, nodding his head. “Out and shopping, Gramps?”

The sensation had knocked the breath out of him. Despair. There was no other word he could think of for it. Grief. Sorrow. Pain. Despair. Like a black hole was trying to consume him. And he knew where it was coming from. There was no other possible source of it than Jae. And he knew he should stay by Cassian, to help him through it, but if he was quite frank, he himself wasn’t the best source of peace or calm at that moment.
Despair clouding his thoughts as he began to run around, looking for Jae, but no one would tell him where she was. No one would direct her in the right direction. And if he’d let himself fall into back patterns, he’d might even slam someone up against the wall, growl against them, and slowly start to pull them apart until they directed him to his sire. But no, luckily he wasn’t that far gone yet. He knew he wouldn’t settle until he found her.
How long he’d been looking for her by the time he found her, he couldn’t tell. Minutes, hours, days? It didn’t matter to him. The moment he saw her frame, he ran to her. Strong arms moving around her, pulling her tight against his chest. “Never feel that again.” He whispered against her head. Desperate to find her. Desperate to help her remove whatever had caused that pain in her. “I don’t care if I have to slaughter the world. I don’t want you to feel that way, ever again. There was a moment..” a Deep breath as he breathed in her scent. “A moment where I thought I was losing you.”

While Marcus himself didn’t have a relationship really to Cassian before this all went down, he did have to have a relationship to him now. And included in that, meant making sure the angry lil thing calmed the fuck down and stopped being about to drive his sire mad. Because Marcus could really not stand to watch Jae suffer like she was. So with two yoga mats under one arm, holding a bag filled with yarn, and stuff to knit with, and in the other hand having books on different things like mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and more, he went down to where Cassian would be. “Okay little brother. You have a few options today.” He stated putting everything down. “You can either join me in finding something that will calm you down. Or you’ll have to deal with being held until you’re chill.”

Marcus had seen the other come into the room, but because well, class had been about to start, he couldn’t exactly make a big deal out of it yet. But the moment class was over and he dismissed everyone to leave, people would see a massive change. From zen and calm, Marcus burst out into ‘MY OLD MAN!’ before he ran across the room, swooping Adonis up in his arms, in a crushing hug. “Damn it’s been a damn long time since I’ve seen you!”
