Leaf looked down at her text messages. Her father was going on about learning more about different Pokemon types. He was telling her to open up and catch bigger and better things. While she was comfortable with her current teams makeup, travelling to Hoenn seemed like it would be a good time.
However, now she was covered in dirt and one of her shoelaces ripped. Leaf had been looking for this man for hours. Apparently he was kind of a big deal around these parts. He was an heir, and the champion of the region?
Stepping over a small pile of rocks, she wanted to yell into the darkness. The cold and damp area of the cave making her shiver. She had been sent from the city to find this man in a cave.
“Are you kidding me.. if I get pneumonia in here.”
Her speech was quickly cut short by the man visible before her. His back was facing her, well dressed and looking at rocks. Speaking loud enough for every living creature nearby to hear she called for his attention.
“Oi.. are you ‘Steven Stone’ ?”
