At this point Conrad should keep a rewards card with how many times he's been to the emergency room just in the month alone. His matches have gotten more and more aggressive. Despite them being practices for his clients, Conrad treated them like true opponents as a means to prepare for the real matches. There were no time-outs - no pulled punches, and he expected them to reciprocate. None of his clients had gotten the best of him … but this one almost did.
Sitting on the firm and sad excuse of a bed in the hospital cubicle, Conrad's foot shook from waiting for Dr. Madeline Capshaw, aka, the only doctor Conrad allowed to examine him. The others gave him off vibes. Dr. Capshaw, on the otherhand, was gentle and actually listened to him.
