kate was surprised really. surprised that her memory hadn’t failed her for once. ever since she arrived in washington, it felt like bits and pieces had been missing. it was hard to remember most of high school which was frustrating considering she had only graduated 4 years ago. it was almost as if something had been blocking parts of her memory entirely which led her to feel insecure and even doubt things she remembered. “it sounds interesting, i’m in.” she spoke with a firm nod. “can’t say i’ve ever swam in a money bin before.”
