Setting: Caesar Flickerman's After-Party, The Museum of Panem History, post plot-drop
Who: Cressida and Connie ( @incaensio )
Cressida had to admit to herself that the clips of the games hit a lot differently when one didn't agree with the games anymore. Even if she could appreciate how well the clips were organised, and blended together, as if they were actually from one year rather than multiple ones, it didn't make it much better. A few years ago Cress probably would've watched it, and reacted the same way as manner of her fellow capitolites. But she didn't feel that way anymore. She was grateful that she was at least not by her parents. Because Cress just knew that they were enjoying this, and probably wondering if they had shot any of the clips that had been used. She was also sure that the message at the end was missed on them, like most the people around them.
So, when she spotted the familiar face of her best friend, she headed in his direction, knowing that they would at least feel the same way. She didn't feel like pretending right now. "I'd say it was an impressive collection of clips if it wasn't something we disliked so much." She mused, her voice low, meant only for his ears. "And of course, no surprise, that everyone just moves on like it was nothing."
