This is a shrug I made for my daughter. I will either attach buttons to the sides or sew them up depending on which she prefers. I made up the chart. Filet crochet is so fun!

This is all the progress I m a design yesterday. I would have done more, but I started a new skein, and there were tangling issues. Still, it's not too bad considering I made up the pattern yesterday also. 4/23/17
This is the beginning of a shrug I am designing. It will basically be a long rectangle, about 16"x52". The outside edges will have buttons to form sleeves. It could be worn as scarf or stole or shrug depending on the wishes of the wearer. This one has an abstract filet pattern, but I was thinking of making flowers or birds, or other things. I have a filet chart for this one worked up; would anyone be willing to test it?
The next crochet top…this one for me. It is from a book called 21 crocheted tanks and tunics which i checked out of my local library (go libraries!!!) The name of the pattern is “pacific” and I made it with “wool-free lace” by premier yarns in “limestone glow”
It’s a wrap! Made from a pattern in an old issue of “inside crochet”. Issue 6, it is the cover pattern. I made it with 2 strands of wool like in cool grey and charcoal. I like how it turned out, though if I did it again, I would just use one strand.
