THREE BULLETS:
Harvey Fleymir has spent his entire life being invisible. The son nobody wanted, the boy nobody remembered, the mistake his mother can't forgive. At seventeen, someone finally sees him. Offers him friendship. Gives him a gun wrapped like a birthday present. Tells him he's special. One night changes everything. One moment of panic. One bullet that finds the wrong target. Now Harvey has nothing left to lose and nowhere left to go, except into the arms of the very people who've been watching him all along. They know things about his past he never did. They see potential in the bloodline he's tried to escape. They place another gun in his hands and whisper that he was born for this. Harvey wants to believe them. Wants to believe the anger building in his chest is justified, that the voices in his head are just stress, that becoming someone else is the same as becoming someone better. But legacy isn't a gift. It's a loaded weapon, and Harvey is starting to realize he's been holding it backwards the entire time.
