I went over to his place and baked a frozen pizza, kicked back a few drinks, and watched my favorite movie [(500) Days of Summer]. Wow, I have never related to that movie as much as I do now. And he said he used to relate to Tom and now he relates to Summer and we had a good convo about the movie and the emotion behind it and the cinematography and color scheme. It was a good night. He started sending me smiley faces again. I'll take that as a good sign.
