Sorry this is kind of ranty but I REALLLYY need to talk about this lol

I think the reveal of Three’s personality/who she is should’ve been a LOONGG while before TPOT 20, so they could’ve fleshed her out more and could’ve made us care about One’s relationship with her more

Her personality is so vague, we literally only JUST met her, yet we’re expected to care about her and her role in One’s backstory

It was shocking and cool on a first watch to finally get a glimpse of who she is, but now I’m just sitting here thinking “WHO TF IS THIS GUY???”

We’ve literally never seen her personality before now lol.Nobody cares about this random person we’ve barely even seen, it makes her involvement with One and the others feel so much more mellow because we haven’t gotten any time to care about her

She’s not a character, she’s a plot device for One’s story, and I’m not surprised that viewers only care about her when it comes to her friendship with One, because that’s all we even HAVE of her

Call me a horrible person for this but I hate Onethree for One's sake more than I ever will Three's.

Is it bad that people wanna ignore the trauma One inflicted on Three for Onethree fluff? Yes. Do I like that Onethree shippers make Three a tool for One's happiness? No.

But I can't pretend One isn't more sympathetic to me. She wanted someone that liked her, understood her, and thought she finally got that from Three. But Three only responded with callous behavior. She never gave a single shit about One and made no effort to understand her, but One latched onto her anyway cause she was so emotionally neglected. It was a 'Wrong Person, Wrong Time' scenario cause Three is not empathetic enough to be the kind of friend One needed, but is still the closest thing to a friend One ever had. So it pains me to see them chase after the love of someone that could never reciprocate. I just keep thinking "please move on, find someone that'll actually care about you, don't chase after Three's affection, she'll never give it to you, she'll probably never forgive you, so please move on from her so you can find someone that's good for you please"

"Hi I'm Three! I can spend several hours trying to fix Nine's skateboard but can't be decent to One for 5 minutes!" asshole.

"Hey One, I know you wanted me to keep this meteor a secret and I TOLD YOU I WOULD…but I decided everyone should learn about it without you and get the powers without you and party with them all day without you. I know you'll understand why because I understand why and we're all equal! We have the same experiences and perspectives, so there's no good reason you WOULDN'T be okay with this!"

(do not get me started on this one. it WILL give me an aneurysm.)

"Hey One! Why are you upset with me after I went behind your back and stole your only chance to befriend everyone so I could look good for a good cause?!" i know why Three. it's because actions have consequences, and you earned this one for being an insensitive ASSHOLE.

"I just think it would've been selfish to keep those powers to yourse-I mean, ourselves!" yes that's a real line of dialogue Three says after SHE betrays One for an incredibly selfish reason. and she just had to take credit for finding the meteor too, couldn't even be honest about THAT. Ain't no way they put this in to make me feel bad for Three, I don't feel bad for HYPOCRITES.

"That's enough One. I've spent the last 24 hours being dissmissive to you, immediately breaking my promise to you, ignoring your feelings yet again even though I'M the reason you're upset, and won't even acknowledge it let alone apologize for it…but YOU'RE the REAL problem, so unfortunately I have to send you away" FUCK OFF. ACTUALLY FUCK OFF WITH THIS SHIT. GET THIS CHARACTER OFF MY SCREEN, I DON'T WANNA SEE HER ANYMORE.

genuinely all the buildup surrounding 3 only for them to be a mix of 6, 5 and 8 was kind of a letdown. i'm begging for jnj to give more info about 3 in later episodes because as of now they're so BORING and i did not care for them at all in tpot 20

what happened to 3 feels like a cliche tbh. the 'hehe silly and nice' character who's also the caretaker getting killed is so boring. not saying it shouldn't have happened but giving 3 more depth before it happened would've made it more impactful
