When I walk around campus at my community college I have noticed how I like the feel of it. The place is small and if you catch it at the right times, it can feel as if you are the only one there. And I really like that. The class I'm taking there has a total of 15 students. That's half the size of the classes at my school. I really like it here. I like how small everything is here... And I've been taking that into consideration when I look at schools to transfer into. But small school are private schools.... My dad can't afford private schools... And there aren't any public liberal arts school in my state. I'm probably going to have to go to the local University. There's nothing wrong with UMD, my brother likes it a lot. But UMD is a school that focuses on STEM mostly. Their English department is going down hill and creative writing isn't even a major... And UMD is huge. Like it basically fills the town around it. And that really scares me. I don't want to go to a school where I'm stuck in a program I don't like and where I can get lost on campus. It makes me want to cry because I know that's what is most likely going to happen. I don't want to waste my dad's money on sending me to a place I don't enjoy.
