Had to briefly explain to a group of aspiring artists how to draw an eye and make a tear look realistic and three dimensional. Lots of things have happened this past month; little flickers of good among the bad. One thing that’s been keeping me afloat is getting more into art and #acrylicpainting to supplement my cosplay and digital art hobbies. To continue my #mixedmedia journey I decided to go for a #threedimensionalart of a #koipond using a palette knife to build up lily pads and some air dry clay plus some wood glue for the back and eyes of the fish. Overall I’m super proud of the end result and was delighted to gift it to my next door neighbor who collects art (specifically local #nebraska artists).
