Student work 'Daydream machine' captured in Professor Viscardi's Three dimensional ART 4 class before studios went to remote learning. Students are next assigned tutorials to learn CAD based software and begin the process of reconstructing their daydream machine into a virtual model. #lehighuniversity #art #architecture #design #threedimensionaldesign Students completed several assignments before getting to this stage. In Structural Scaffolding, each student needed to follow guidelines to build a structural scaffold to support a plaster block created in an assignment before. It’s my first relief sculpture ever! A little ruff. Needs cleaning up a bit, but I’m proud:) It’s going in the kiln over spring break so incase it busts (85% chance it will), I’m taking these photos to encapsulate my finish-ished piece.

The theme was Space so this is a porthole in a space ship (not to be confused with a submarine...) with like wires, buttons, etc, and an an Alien breaking in. May have over shot it with the tentacles but oh well.
