Random positivity for you! Every time I see your little notes about other people in the fandom I just get a little teary because someone out there loves and reads and picks up on all the little nuances that people put into their characters! It's such a nice thing to remind people of what they're doing and that they have a wonderful audience like yourself. Also, sidenote, your Ryder is great. You have excellent imagery in your writing! Excellent prose! Excellent dialogue! A good bean ic and ooc.

Does Sara have any hobbies she spends her free time on?

sara recently started collecting model ships and vehicles, mostly as she saw the empty space on the walls of her room on the tempest and knew she had to find things to fill it up with. her short time spent in the alliance (and some interest in the history of space flight) helped her learn the names of the ships she was collecting, and this hobby ended up with her sometimes going to extreme lengths to get these models (think of that one model ship in spender’s apartment).

she also enjoys reading – there’s always some sort of book she’s got some interest in reading. there was one month that she really got into the shakespeare plays.

drinking is another hobby of hers, though she won’t do it alone unless it’s been a really tough day. whisky is her favourite. sometimes she joins in on the poker games that happen on the tempest but she’s horrible at it unless using SAM to cheat.

there’s also stargazing. even when surrounded by space, it’s still really beautiful to look at.

Fresh back from the Badlands, Lily Rose surveyed the damage to her armor with a slightly mournful expression. It had served her well, to be sure; she had no acid burns to her person... but she’d have to replace the legs. Probably give the arms and torso a repaint; what was once purple now rusted in spots, and had turned to a faded brown in others. Damned outlaws, she thought, her expression shifting into a scowl as she entered her tiny apartment to change... then decided on a shower first.

She emerged, feeling not quite refreshed, but better anyway, pulled on her leather jacket, and headed for Kralla’s Song. A drink or two would certainly help wash the frustrations of the day away. She nodded a greeting to Umi, who immediately placed a glass on the bar, poured something from a mixer into it. Lily laughed.

“I come here too often, and at too similar a time if you already had one ready for me,” she said.

“You won’t hear me complaining about predictability,” Umi answered dryly.

             she’s recently made kadara one hundred percent viable and activated the vault on the planet. there’s still problems left unsolved for while she’s here, but one night of celebration is in order. there wouldn’t be an outpost without the charlatan’s help -- it’s only fair she lets him in on the celebrations.

          not a question — D E M A N D — throwing herself lazily onto the seat situated across the table. she’d be lying if she said the DECREPIT, sweltering atmosphere of tartarus hasn’t grown on her in some way. perhaps it’s PARASITIC ( like a very big flea ), but nevertheless — it’s probably the faint berry scent radiating from some cheap air freshener stuck into a wall.

          ryder kicks her feet up onto the table; hands REACH to fidget and adjust buckles on her armor. a pause, and it is HEAVY, her head moving and cocking to eyeball the shady bastard.
