Ive been playing Thresh non-stop, and I'm currently working on a Thresh NSFW request, so it got my head full of thoughts about this little shit that I can't really say to my duo when gaming

Theres lots more I didn't include in here (I spend too long thinking about him) so I'll likely make a part 2 or a NSFW alphabet for him

Thresh is a little shit. He's the worst in all the good ways. I feel like I say it a lot but I can't stress this enough...

General Dating Headcanons for Spirit Blossom Thresh Coming Right uP

-A big Softie, he is commonly misinterpreted as a demon spirit who’s purpose is to lure others to an eternity of suffering, when in reality he just’s thrives to turn those flaws in spirits into blossoming potential 

-The more you hang around him given that he is the father of the spirits around him eventually those spirits that are in lanterns perk up when they sense your presence, which basically means you are now the mother of these spirits too.

-While even being a big softie it shows in his interactions of affections with you, a beautiful spot he knows with a lake as the two of you cuddle up and admire the scenery or perhaps a quiet night under the stars of the spirit realm?

-Thresh is an Azakana, but more so a demon spirit who surprisingly has good intentions and perhaps the wrong execution. Unlike Vayne and Riven who are spirits who wouldn’t let go of their pasts that in turn they continue to not relish in calm tranquility, he actually has a pretty friendly personality.

-If you are in a state of living and he falls for you he’ll be sad to see you ago, which in turn his children are sad to see you go, but he knows he’ll be watching out for you after you pass from the realm of the living. -When you do pass into the spirit realm whether your spirit cannot accept the fate you’ve chosen and turn into an azakana or whether your spirit has moved on from past transgressions he’ll be there to assist no matter what.

-Isn’t one that results in the act of violence unless he absolutely has too but will teach some azakana or harmful demon a lesson if they mess with you.

-On the other hand, if you do choose to spend the rest of your mortality with him he is humbly honored and thrives to make the small window of time the two of you have and experiences to be wonderful

Hii Can I get a headcanon where Thresh has feelings for a soul! Reader who recently died and is confused and scared

This was really interesting to think about, after starting to write about it the thought just got better.

(Well I actually wanted to post this tomorrow evening but miss clicked so have fun y'all.)

Thresh x Soul

Headcanon

Thresh collected your soul because you tried to fight against him with others.

On the Shadow Isle you where able to gain a human close ghost form.

Thresh tried to ignore you, you didn't speak to him but always looked over his shoulder.

Thresh started to feel your presence and you started to talk to him.

"Why do you collect their souls?" you often ask but Thresh doesn't answer the question.

After a bit you too started talking about the most irrelevant stuff.

Thresh felt never that alive but he felt weird at the same time.

You tried to smile again and where able to be in human form a lot.

Soon you noticed you can go away from Thresh, after Thresh found out he wanted to collect your soul again or something.

Thresh felt helpless and something else he wasn't able to tell, he don't want you to go.

Chased by Thresh u did run, but at the end of Shadow Isle a border stoped you, not able to go further Thresh catched up.

"Thresh I don't want to go just don't make me go away for ever?" Thresh seemed surprised "For ever?" he didn't move.

You just watched at each other.

So I have a lot of things to say about this update with the Blessed/Shadow Isles and WOW.

THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I ENVISIONED THE BLESSED ISLES TO LOOK! Like I imagined so many architecture and just it being so green and beautiful for an island nation. It was once replete with gardens, libraries, universities, and houses of learning... I did feel a lot of their culture was ingrained in knowledge and learning anyways. This is just all so stunning!  

‘The architecture of the Blessed Isles was laden with hidden meanings and symbolism’ is very cool as well considering all the really intricate designs on buildings and even the ground.

‘Cities were designed to keep their inhabitants safe. Because the Isles were surrounded by white mist that led unguided travelers astray, there was no need for an army.’ I really love that they add about the White Mist, and all that but I wonder if the White Mist has any significance or if it was just apart of the Isles in the first place until it turned to black. 

I’m SUPER happy to see the amount of diversity they have. Their clothes are just so beautifully designed and very robe like, which is how I thought their culture had as well.

Very very cool to see the variance in skin tone as well, as it aligns very well with the skin tone that I have given to my Humanized Thresh. (I’ll have to draw his outfit back in those days and the like and even do more with his parents)

Onto this beautiful artwork of Thresh, it’s apparent that this has to be some kind of interpretation maybe? It reminds me of old lore books of mythical sightings and they get most things right but it’s up to interpretations on what others have seen. It’s really pretty though!

These new specters and entities are super awesome to see and I love that they all have significance in ranking. Considering Thresh is one of the powerful on the Isles it’s really cool to see all of these dangerous spirits (and some that aren’t as dangerous)

Meaning the Soul Shepard of course. Considering the Soul Shepard protects weaker souls from becoming prey to more predatory spirits on the Isles.

I already have a headcanon that Thresh would willingly go out of his way to take what he can get. Can you say #Drive-by Soul Steal anyone???

Super cool to see Karthus commanding or even leading the charge of The Harrowing and more of an interpretation of Hecarim as well. Just... so damn cool.

I’m really happy they did show the Sunken Ruin of the capital of Helia. You can see how gnarly the ruin is and it’s just... wow. Yeah the Ruination certainly did a number on the Blessed Isles.

All in all this was a fantastic update and I’m super happy that a lot of my headcanons were validated. There is very minor that I have to fix up!

So here’s a headcanon I have been meaning to write about Thresh which is super important to any and all ships on this blog~

Thresh doesn't know love.

You may be wondering... but he seems like he knows what he's doing and saying? What do you mean Supia?

The thing is, Thresh has never known true love, not much at all. He's only known respect and even then that was slim in his mortal life. He knows what the concept of it is.

Here's the important bit however, Thresh has studied mortal behavior about loving feelings and has over the centuries of being alive and has built a foundation on the very things it takes to love someone correctly.

He's molded himself into such a thing and it hasn't been genuine. He has numbed a lot of kindness out of him besides when he's playing the loving role, and has cast away being sad or grief. Overall his emotions are very inhuman now.

Though he's molded this loving personality to 1. feel a sense of closeness to certain individuals he finds interesting or 2. lure in victims to eventually take their souls after. 

Not to say he doesn't have feelings for most of the ships I have on this blog, but keep in mind... Thresh is a sadistic and unfeeling person. He puts on a facade most of the time to please others. This is something no other muse knows however, and only he knows. 

It explains why my Thresh sometimes acts like he cares, and he usually does, but there is sometimes cruel intentions underlying that kindness.

Deep Terror Thresh Headcanon -

When he is at work dragging down ships and destroying them he sometimes sings Sea Shanties like this one since he hears sailors and pirates singing them across the waves and learns them. It’s quite eerie hearing your songs being sung to you while you drown to death and your souls taken. He will occasionally sing them on his lonesome since they are a way to pass the time.
