The Golden Demon found himself in the slummy streets of Bilgewater, having taken a contract for some former noble that was now a blemish to their family name. Jhin had spent two weeks tailing and learning about his newest subject, preparing for their final act. His target was a creature of habit, taking the same path, making the same stops. The first week he had only observed, taking in every detail of his subject’s dull existence. Every step, every habit, every nervous look over the shoulder, Jhin meticulously cataloged them away in consideration for the final and most grand performance of his subject.

The night of the performance had arrived. Jhin trailed his subject, breathing unsteadily under his mask, anxious for the execution of his brilliant performance. At a distance Jhin followed his target on their way home, taking the predetermined route that Jhin had trained his target to take by creating blockages and obstructions in their original habit formed path only a week ago. Jhin brandished Whisper as he rounded the corner into the final corridor. Jhin had set the stage for his subject’s final act earlier that day, creating a dead end in their path. The target turned at the sound of the Golden Demon’s footsteps.  “ You performed marvelously.” Jhin said. Staring down his subject with a haunting golden eye.” Your boring habits have led you to this: your dead end. Fret not though, for all the dullness your existence bore, I shall bring about your most meaningful moment.”Jhin continued, pointing whisper at his terrified subject. “ So, let’s make a lively death!” He exclaimed.

The rapt of knuckles on the door on the other side of the room drew Thresh from his musings. A quick glance at his watch told him just who it was. “Always 10 minutes early Miss Shauna Vayne, come in, come in. I’m beginning to think you really do have nothing else to do in your spare time than tie up loose ends for an old man…”
