“I’m not even sure I should be talking to you...“ the colt managed to keep off the ground, leaving an opening of flight if he decided to run.

"We’re here to help.” Twilight strained a smile as she motioned to herself and Fluttershy. “We got a signal here in the Everfree that somepony needed us to help them“

The Threshal looked about before landing on the ground.

“Is this about the missing foals?“

Twilight, like many ponies, had heard the tales of Threshals: Feral, pony-eating monsters that haunted the Everfree with fangs and cruel wings, not the nervous and wary colt she saw before her.

Being sent to the Everfree with Fluttershy wasn’t the best task the Alicorn could think of, but where help was needed, they went. They had gotten a chance to talk to Rushing Water, a young Threshal they learned had been on patrol, despite his youth, and learned the clans of Threshals were near war with each other since foals began to disappear.

Now they had to figure out why.
