4. Worst game you've ever played?

Wow, I don't even know. Nothing's coming to mind. If I stop playing something, nine times out of ten it's because it's too hard or I got stuck - rarely because I thought it was horrible. I'll just go with the first AC. Not the worst, but I definitely didn't enjoy it.

7. A game you'll never forget?

The Sims. I've been playing those damned things since they first started coming out in, what, like 2000? They have a very special place in my heart. :)

9. A game you turn your volume off every time you play it?

Fatal Frame II. The ghost sounds scare the piss out of me.

20. What was the first video game you ever played?

I know I played Super Mario Brothers on my friend's NES when we were kids, but I don't think that was my first game. It might have been Ecco Jr. for my Sega Pico.

27. Has there ever been a moment that has made you cry?

The first and only video game to ever make me cry was RDR. I'm sure you can guess which scene it was.

You nailed it. But The Wire has been on my list forever. It was ahead of Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy in my things to overload on a year or so ago, but the Breaking Bad blitz and my getting word on Danny Trejo and Jimmy Smits joining the cast of Sons jumped them both ahead of the nightmare that is Baltimore. I'll get around to it.

Whedon allowing banter to emotionally derail his stories is rampant in early Buffy, but it’s nearly gone in Firefly. The characters fit the stories, not vice versa. Having read In the House of Feasts, I think you’d enjoy Firefly as it develops.

Where Firefly is concerned, I feel like if I had a mantra, it'd be "I'll get around to it." Sons is done this week and so is my semester. Maybe I'll soldier through the rest of Firefly then. No promises. I just really hate when characters talk and talk and talk and say nothing.

i couldn’t watch dawson’s creek because of the witty banter… but i loved gilmore girl’s witty bantering. buffy’s first few seasons are tight.

Dawson's Creek was a little too early in my development to get caught up in. I was more concerned with Zordon dying in Power Rangers in Space than whatever else was going on prime time TV. Gilmore Girls was a something of a freak outlier, since I was drawn to it, but never really payed much attention to it. It was like absentmindedly walking through the zoo. "Oh hey, wow, look at the white people," before zoning out and turning my Playstation on.

I've read the tags on the text you reblogged from me (thanks for sharing that with your followers by the way^^), and I felt the need to clarify something. I don't think that Angel is depressed, it's just that, from what I can tell, his struggle with Angelus is a metaphor for depression. Maybe it was a way for Whedon to cope with his own problems, maybe I'm just pulling this theory out of my arse... who knows?

Ah, OK. I can see that metaphor, but I do think he has at least some issues with mental health. You don't try to kill yourself twice within a few hours without some issues (Reprise). But that is an interesting perspective that I hadn't considered before, so thanks!

Swamp Thing is easily one of the best New 52 books. You should consider getting it, especially since you’re also picking up Animal Man (because of the crossover).

Mm, I've heard good things about it and come the crossover it may be needed. I'll definitely think about it.

Another good one is Red: Werewolf Hunter. Well, it’s not actually good, but more bad in a fun way… if you’re into that kinda stuff at least.

Hah! That sounds fun. I'm kind of into bad cheesy movies. I like to rate a movie on how much I enjoyed it overall so something like that sounds like it's worth a watch, just for a laugh and to kill time.

How did this one turn out? I haven’t bought any of the HD remakes for the PS3 so far, because they screwed up most of them.

I'm downloading the first one from the store now, I'll tell you when it's done.
