Good morning and happy Saturday everyone! Today we bring you this simply stunning piece of stanford history and awesome vintage clothing! This bomber was made in the 1970's for Stanford college students in Stanford California. At the time the Stanford mascot was not the current Cardinal Tree most people would know them by. But back in the day starting in 1930 the Stanford mascot was an indian but by 1972 the Indian would be removed and discontinued as school mascot due to the native American students and staff writing a petition for the removal of the Indian. The petition won and the rest is history. The bomber is in mint condition, like as of it was made just yesterday. There isn't any fraying or peeling from the embroidered patch and the name is sharp still. Lastly for this fine Tuesday evening are these incredible vintage 1970's womens Levi Strauss jeans! The condition of the denim is immaculate minus the obvious spots at the cups of the bell bottoms but other than that the jeans are structurally perfect. Sadly, logo and tag wise is another story. For some reason what so ever a previous owner just did not want anyone to know what these pants were. As pictured someone cut off the rare iconic orange tab and completely removed the identification patch where the belt line is. Ray knew instantly these were levis just from the remnants of an orange tab before he even seen the main waist button. Here's 1 for all the gamers out there! 2009 Gears of War shirt! Strangely Gears 1 released in 2006 but appearently Bioware was still making this shirt during launch year of Gears of War 2. Sadly this one is damaged but it kind of works with it. Last piece for today is this simply amazing vintage 1980's San Francisco Giants blank BP (batting practice) jersey! This is quality made, the Giants logo is completely embroidered and not hot patched like modern jerseys. The material is stretchy not like a standard vintage jersey where it's usually pretty rigid. Happy Sunday friends! Today we are bring you some more vintage heat! This is from our own backyard! A 2002 Hollister Biker Rally lingsleeve tee! The graphics and tee itself are in great condition just alittle faded. The iron cross on the back really makes the shirt. This was one of the few designs that were discontinued after this year. Alot of shirts that are still being printed were already printed before in previous year but for this one they stopped using it after the '02 season. A Day Of Thrifting For Treasure Is Great Relaxation

Any day I can spend a day shopping at thrift stores hoping to discover the latest retail treasures is a day of pure relaxation.  The days starts out with overwhelming optimism which is just a pure enjoyment.  It is always a positive to start the day feeling that way.  Even as the day progresses, regardless of finding lots of treasure or striking out at each stop, the freedom of the day is pure enjoyment.  Once I look at my weekly work schedule and circle a day on the calendar that I can go thrifting, the lead up to that day will get me through some not so fun days.
