From Filmmaker - @JZ_Murdock: While working on (and still now, as I'm making the DVD) "Pvt. Ravel's Bolero" documentary, there was lots of research, which lasted nearly a decade, before making the film. Here is an example. What did they call walkways at the bottom of trenches in WWI, used to cover the mud? "Les passerelles". "Duckboards" (for English speakers). All which does lead one into some very interesting areas and information. It was a journey. Alas... "San fairy duckboard”.
