When i rewatch glee I'm always like how did that team win? Usually only when teams have one main person doing all the singing, like I understand obviously it's for the plot but im like nahhh 😂😂 with Jesse and his team first season I understand, he was the main guy but other voices came in to build the teams voice. With throat explosion the main/only guy did have a nice voice but it wasn't that good. I know their dances aren't always the best but the voices that combine to make up glee club is magical

Ooo thank you for the ask!! This is a really good one. :)
1. Paradise By The Dashboard Light. This is one of my favourite numbers, period. It’s just beautiful and amazing and so good!!!! I’m not a huge fan of Finn’s voice in general but he kills it in this. This song is just *chef’s kiss*.
2. More Than A Feeling. This song just feels so powerful? Like it almost gives me chills listening to it. I love it so much. We get some wonderful Tina and Blaine and it’s just so good.
Since you didn’t specify New Directions competition numbers, my other three are actually each from a different show choir. I wasn’t always a huge fan of the number the New Directions chose to perform at competitions, but I really love these songs from competing glee clubs. :)
3. Whistle - The Warblers. Maybe not the best song choice for a high school glee club, but honestly it’s just done so well? Such a jam. I feel like this is unpopular and a lot of people don’t really like it? Maybe I’m totally wrong, not sure, but this song slaps and I love it.
4. Mr. Roboto/Counting Stars - Throat Explosion. Jean Baptiste being Canadian is a plus for this one, I will admit, but also I just love this mashup? It’s such an odd combination of songs, and the performance is so weird, but also it’s just a banger and like, yeah, I am so down with this song.
5. Buenos Aires - The Unitards. Their name is ridiculous but Harmony is a showstopper and she just kills this song and, god, it’s so good. It took me a while to really learn to appreciate it, but now that I do, I’m not sure how I didn’t appreciate it before, because it’s honestly flawless.
