Anyone out here read Throne of Light?
Based on extremely reliable sources (Reddit), I have been lead to believe that the following events occur in this book:
Guilliman lobs Primaris reinforcements at Black Templars
BTs immediately break into a civil war over whether Primaris marines are heretical or not
All the Primaris get killed
Most of the BTs get killed
A fucking Custodes gets killed
Remaining BTs go on a penitent crusade to atone for killing the Custodes
Main character lies his ass off in a report and says that everyone died in a battle so that Guilliman and/or Trajann doesn't purge the entire chapter for these shenanigans
The whole thing happened in the ass-end of nowhere so he gets away with it
Is this true? Because this is legitimately the funniest shit I've heard about in 40k in ages.
