I made a thing.
Back when I worked retail at a craft store I accumulated a lot of yarn that I thought looked cool and for the past several years most of it has been sitting in totes and bags waiting for me to figure out what to do with it. I finally got fed up with it and separated most of the skeins into color palettes I liked with the intention of crocheting them into throw blankets. This was the first.
I was going for a vaguely witchy vibe. I really like how it turned out. The thick row of black and the grey border have sparkle in them, as do portions of the variegated rows. Some of the yarn is super soft and fuzzy. It turned out way better than I expected.
