Woke up at like 2:00 from a blood curdling scream. My sister fell down the stairs and broke her leg. Like a bad, bad break. She had a kind of dent in her skin where her bone was supposed to be but wasn't anymore. I'm the only one in the house who doesn't need glasses or contacts and of course everyone had rushed out of bed and didn't have them, so I think I was the only one who could see how bad it was. My mom thought the shadow from the dent was a bruise at first. I said she needed to go to the hospial, so they tried to move her and I said no she needs an ambulance. I called 911 and they came and splinted her an gave her pain meds. My parents just left for the hospital and now I'm sitting on the couch trying not to cry/throw up from the left over adrenaline. Let me tell you. My sister does not take pain very well. All things considering, she took this like a champ. Yes, there was screaming an crying and she nearly threw up and passed out from pain, but she dealt with it and got through. I feel bad for her because her graduation is in 2 weeks. Hopefully it's not going to be too bad of a recovery for her, but it was seriously bad.
