when i was at the height of my daisy jones & the six fixation i got really obsessed with watching all the fleetwood mac documentaries i could find to fill the void and my favourite one ended up being this one, which is basically just 80 minutes of 'fly on the wall' footage from throughout the writing, recording, and production process of their 2003 album say you will. it's weirdly cut and lindsey buckingham is whiny af and there are random segments where they decide to use what look like night vision lenses (???) to film conversations that take place in broad daylight (????) but there's a part where lindsey is arguing that stevie shouldn't change the pronouns of her muse (him) from 'he' to 'you' halfway through her song (he is wrong. 'thrown down' is my no.1 fm song ever and it's very effective.) and then stevie looks him dead in the eyes and says "well i don't think you could say that to bob dylan.". and i need you all to know that i think about that about once a week.

February Reading Summary
DNF’d - The Friend Zone by Abby Jiminez
February wasn’t a bad month reading wise. Two of these were audiobooks, but those take me longer to finish since I usually listen to them while I’m in my car. The Grace Year was listened to while on a road trip, so I was able to finish that in two days worth of driving. I think my favorite out of the entire month was Heretics Anonymous. I binged the Locke & Key graphic novels that were on Kindle Unlimited. I actually finished the last one on KU this morning, so I didn’t count that for February.
I don’t have any set books to read for March outside of the one for the ONTD Reading Challenge. I am listening to I Wish You All The Best, but I have a feeling this is going to take some time. Mainly because the narrator is...not that great of a narrator. You can’t just READ a book. I need inflection. I need emotion. I need something other than just someone reading a book on tape. I may just buy the book so I can read it and go from there. So far, I’m enjoying it even I want to beat the shit out of Ben’s parents.
Favorites of the Month:
Purple Hibiscus - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Heretics Anonymous - Katie Henry
2020 ONTD Reading Challenge: February
Read a book set in Nigeria or by a Nigerian Author: Purple Hibiscus
2020 Pop Sugar Challenge:
A book with a pink cover: The Grace Year
A book about a book club: The Bromance Book Club
A book with a 3-word title: Capturing the Devil
