Inktober 2020 - Day 9: Throw (quilt)
For just $129.90 Retro and sweet, our denim baby girl quilt is sure to please both mothers and daughters. We constructed the quilt top entirely of denim, and backed it with a piece of cotton quilting fabric. To incorporate both the colors and patterns of the backing, we added a touch of olive and chocolate to the sea of blue, and finished the edges with a leafy stitch. For better wear and tear, we machine tack our denim quilts every four to six inches. At 40 1/2 inches wide by 59 inches long, the baby quilt is large enough to fit a crib-size mattress, and grow with a baby from infancy to five years of age. We designed the quilt to be a comfortable coverlet for both a crib and a toddler bed. As the batting is 80% cotton/20% polyester, the quilt is machine washable and dryable. Although the upcycled denim has been thoroughly cleaned, the quilt has not been prewashed. Care instructions: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle; tumble dry low or air dry. Some shrinkage may occur.
