hi y’all! yes, we know, it’s only day one BUT we wanted to go ahead and give a small aesthetic preview to help provide some idea of what the site will look like. we understand that when joining a site, aesthetics are extremely important, and you shouldn’t have to join and invest in a buzz not knowing if you’re gonna dig the site when it opens!

so without furter ado, here’s our site header! 

some notes: included in the header is a menu only available when logged in. we wanted to make it easier for users to navigate their custom links (their shipper, dev thread etc.) as well as providing an easy fixed navigation menu for our regular site links. though the header is mostly dark, the site utilizes both light and dark contrasts throughout the skin in order to help with readability. please keep in mind that one of our goals is to keep the site as user friendly as possible. if that means slightly altering colors, font sizes, etc. for users, then we’ll work with you! please let us know if there is anything that is difficult to read or make out. as a final note, we would like to express that much of our inspiration for the skin and codes was taken from dribbble.com users! we will have specifics linked in the credit portion of the site. cleo // is living out that fake relationship for creekwood so uh, someone give her a secret relationship underneath that bc #mono is not tru love. (aka monty is too tall for her.) she also needs a sibling who moved with her to la when they were youngin’s! the family is originally canadian 

tip  // never really over playing softly in the background -- aka give me the girl from high school he’s been self-sabotaging over forever. are they meant 2 b? who knows at this point  maddie’s got me!

briony  // where are the la lesbians (& other queer girls) at? she needs all of them thx (even though she’s in a relationship right now, let’s just make them all know each other.) 

and my fifth one is a youtuber who got canceled so uh if y’all got other youtubers or anyone else in it for the cancel culture we can talk.

the other twin / no matter what he did he was always the other twin / late bloomer / identity crisis every year how was he supposed to keep up with his siblings? / artsy kid but played it lowkey / was actually really good at sailing but his parents never paid much attention because his brother was being varsity captain at some more common sport / considering becoming a firefighter so maybe then would finally be in the spotlight / it didn’t work / moved out at 19 to the other side of LA / still loves his parents but prefers to stay away / became a designer but even now isn’t sure this is what he wanted

short background; comes from a regular ass family / not a middle child but has the complex of one / his parents never really knew what to do with him because his brother was always the star / was always artistic inclined but no one cared and in an effort to get his parents attention turned to sports / was really good on nautical sports, especially sailing but his parents didn’t care / was lost af and that kinda showed on his average gpa / when high school was over considered becoming a firefighter in hope finally would have some attention but nop / spent the whole summer after hs and part of autumn travelling around europe and asia and his interest for design peaked / studied architecture and design once he was back / graduated with surprising high grades and opened his own design little studio

everyone knows los angeles rents are a scam and a half, which is why this place almost sounds too good to be true. luckily for your wallet, it isn’t. it’s a large 8 bedroom house in west hollywood owned by an overseas investor who rents the place out to maintain an american address and a little additional income. the price tag is hefty at first glance, but split 8 ways, actually becomes a bit of a bargain. the house features a large open space kitchen and dining room area, 8 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms and even a small pool in the backyard!

 i’m picturing 8-10 housemates all together - if there’s a couple that wants to share a bedroom or smth! but basically just a big communal living space w/ a big eclectic group of people that wouldn’t really fit together normally, but have this shared space that brings them together. they probably have the occasions drinks and game nights, and some of them try to cook for each other when they have the time. ages are flexible but probably all in their early to late twenties!

the need to know: grew up in san francisco, ca / became addicted to the trouble-maker life™ at a very young age / being an only-child didn't make things any better / everyone liked him, but he liked no one / both of his parents were immigrants who grew up in culturally stringent environments / eventually he was given the ultimatum to chill out or move out / he weighed his options, but, at fifteen, he knew that he wouldn't survive on his own / he began to shift up his behavior / for the better? that's subjective / he remained a wild-child at heart, but began to suppress it all for the greater good and started to strive toward being more than everyone's laugh of the day / fell in love with digital media and music, but lacked any sonic/instrumental talent / graduated high school and moved to los angelas to figure himself and his future out / found his niche through making, editing, and producing digital media with a concentration in the arts / made connections through various means and began to book gigs; albeit, most of which were more small-time jobs than not / now lives with his three children reptiles

wants: other creatives to be "friends" with (not that he'll ever admit that he actually likes anyone) / flings galore; no-strings sexcapades are his specialty (and by specialty, i mean—he has never used the words "i love you" and never plans to) / musicians, models, actors, etc., that want to commission his work to help push their campaigns or careers through video/graphic promo / eventually a person to show him that he is capable of caring for someone / people to encourage and entice his chaotic side / childhood peers that liked him, and others that he snuffed
